Ryan Holmgren

Board Member

Ryan Holmgren, CFRE, serves as an associate vice president at the Steier Group, a national fundraising and development consulting firm. In his role, Ryan primarily assists nonprofit organizations in conducting capital campaigns. Since 2016, he has helped clients raise over $75 million. Prior to joining the Steier Group, Ryan spent three years as a nationally award-winning sportswriter.

Ryan holds a B.A. in journalism and public relations from Creighton University and an M.A. in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He is the recipient of multiple honors and awards, including the Steier Group’s 2019 Gary Petrich Professional Development Award and Saint Mary’s University’s Tim Burchill Scholarship.

Ryan is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In addition to his role on the Board of CommonBondz, Ryan has served as a volunteer for Special Olympics since 2016 and remains active at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Ryan resides in Circle Pines, Minnesota.
